• By Car:
  • Approximately 10 hours drive from Sydney
  • From Brisbane the trip is about 90 minutes
  • From the Gold Coast the drive is approximately 60 minutes
• By Air:
  • From Sydney: REX (Regional Express) have flights into Ballina and Lismore with land connections to Byron Bay.
  • From Sydney or Melbourne you can fly with QANTAS or Virgin Blue to Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta (see map).
  • From selected New Zealand airports Freedom Air flies into Gold Coast (Coolangatta) airport
  • Major international carriers fly into Brisbane
  • Transfers from Brisbane, Ballina and Gold Coast airports to Byron Bay is available daily with a number of airport transfers services and interstate coach services, with taxis, limousines and hire cars also available.
• By Rail: Express XPT train daily from Sydney to Brisbane, transfer to road coach at Casino
